Maths (and Further Maths) are of course a very interesting and useful subject in their own rights, but are also desirable, highly desirable, or essential for a wide range of other subjects at university.  Here are some excerpts from some university websites..

Bath University Computer Sciences:
Grade A in A level Mathematics is required for all programmes, except Computer Information Systems.
Applicants for BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Mathematics or MComp (Hons) Computer Science and Mathematics programmes must have a grade A in A-level Mathematics and a grade A in either AS-level or A-level Further Mathematics.

We will be updating this information as 2012 / 2013 data comes in, but it is accurate at the time of writing.  Check individual university sites, and UCAS for the most up to date information.

There is also a great deal of information (and other resources) at http://www.furthermaths.org.uk/universities.php

If you have any questions about maths in Year 12 or Year 13, talk to Mr Smy, Mrs Smy, Mr Darton or Miss Davies, as they all teach the course.
